Michael Hudson - The only American DJ on Dutch radio (*except for Adam Curry)
Michael Hudson started his radio career at WGLU FM / Power 92 in Johnstown PA when he was a teenager. At the CHR station he had the Friday and Saturday overnight, and was also a regular presence at on-site promotions and other station activities. With a fascination for all things radio, he eagerly learned how to edit tape with razor blade, transfer dubs to cart and work the phones with listeners. He saw the station became digitized, first for ads, then jingles and then the rest... What his program director didn't know at the time was that Michael was also running a pirate station on the side, with a mobile transmitter to help reach all the other teens in the area. With his buddies he helped introduce rural Pennsylvania to the sounds of house, techno and other hard-to-get music. Life took its turns and Michael moved to Europe in young adulthood, where he started offering DJing and event hosting as Goodmix Entertainment. Fluent in English, Dutch, German and French, he brings the "American touch" while still connecting with audiences across the continent. In 2023 he joined the Hot Dance Radio team, broadcasting on DAB+ in North Holland and online. With the tagline "Michael Hudson is just so random", every Sunday his Michael Hudson Random Top 5 list is a light-hearted collection of relatable observations.
